Профессор Reinhold Wessely о моих абстрактных картинах

These lines serve to express my respect for the artwork of Tatiana Grafova whom I know from our joint work in international projects in a managerial position. I later followed her professional career in government positions but also her personal development as artist.

Tatiana Grafova started out with representational art, panting flowers, landscapes and the likes. Whereas she always could prove to master the technicalities of her art, she – over time – developed her own style focusing on colors and light, thus making her paintings more and more intimate and sensual.

Most recently, Tatiana Grafova expanded her talent by turning to abstract painting. Abstract painting avoids the relationship with external objects, but aims to turn the most inner feelings and the energy which drives a human being to the outside and make them visible. Thus, a multitude of forms and colors depict the movements of the soul and want to attract an accord with the observer and create an effect of harmony. Viewing the abstract paintings Tatiana Grafova so-far has presented, it can be said that her transition from representational art to abstract painting was successful. These paintings show the whole spectrum of inner feelings, energy, love, happiness and secret wishes and invite the spectator to follow the labyrinth of lines and colors in order to arrive at his/her own emotional resting place.
